Victoria Higher EducationExperience Sharing Session

Thank you all for actively participating in the engaging Chapter 5 sharing session of Hexa Talk (六合说) last week. We were fortunate to hear valuable insights from the outstanding IB top scorer, Yaoying Lin, and her parents, as well as Principal Fang’s profound perspectives on music education.

Yaoying Lin shared how she managed academic pressure while preparing for the International Baccalaureate (IB), maintained consistent self-motivation, and struck a balance between life and study. She particularly emphasized the importance of effective course planning and study methods, which not only enhanced her learning efficiency but also helped her maintain a positive mindset.

At the same time, her parents shared their valuable experiences in family education, explaining how they created a supportive learning environment at home. Principal Fang discussed the importance of cultivating musical literacy in teenagers and explored strategies for integrating musical talents into VCE exam preparation.

Mr. Lin Zihong, former Secretary-General of the Melbourne World Fuzhou Association.

Principal Fang of the Dunhuang Arts Centre, Australia.

Their insights provided practical guidance for students and parents aiming to transform musical talents into personal competitiveness. The Q&A session during the event was particularly lively, with attendees eagerly asking questions and sharing their thoughts and experiences.

During the event, we also enjoyed a guzheng performance by a teacher from the Dunhuang Arts Centre in Australia, lasting 04:22.

We also enjoyed exquisite platters and snacks provided by Niku Shiki, perfectly combining the pleasures of food and knowledge. It presented a feast that delighted not only the taste buds and ears but also the mind.
