Our Mission
The Melbourne World Fuqing Association, formerly known as the Australian Chinese Regional Community Association, was established in Melbourne on December 20, 1997.
Our mission is:
“To unite Fuqing compatriots, strengthen community bonds, expand information networks, and seek the well-being of our fellow members.”
Introduction to Fuqing
Fuqing City, abbreviated as “Rong,” is a county-level city under the jurisdiction of Fujian Province and administratively managed by Fuzhou. It is located in the eastern part of Fujian Province, south of Fuzhou, positioned in the transitional zone between the mountainous region of eastern Fujian and the coastal hills and plains of southeastern Fujian. With a South Subtropical Oceanic Climate, it borders six districts and counties and spans a total area of 2,430 square kilometers.
