On May 4, 2024, more than 20 young representatives of the Melbourne World Fuqing Fellowships Association participated in the official establishment ceremony of the Youth Association of the Victorian Federation of Chinese Associations in Melbourne, Australia, organized by the Victorian Federation of Chinese Associations.







Since its establishment in 1979, the Victorian Federation of Chinese Associations in Australia has developed into a unified organization of Victorian Chinese associations with more than 180 member associations. It is committed to uniting the Chinese, fighting for their rights and interests, inheriting Chinese culture and providing services to the community.
At the founding meeting, Chen Yunguo, the 32nd chairman of the Victorian Federation of Chinese Associations in Australia, said that in order to unite the strength of young Chinese and provide a development platform, he decided to establish a youth Association.

He believes that this marks a new stage for the Chinese community. Fang Xinwen, the new consul General in Melbourne, expressed his support for the establishment of the YMCA, emphasizing that youth are the hope for the future of the country and the nation. He promised that the Consulate General would continue to support the development of Huashe’s cause.

At the founding meeting, Chairman Chen Yunguo awarded President Wu Chunjiang an appointment letter. Wu Chunjiang said that young people will assume the mission of cultural inheritance and integration, and the Youth Association will become a platform for youth thought, learning and exchange, and a bridge between the campus and society.


The event also included a wonderful lion dance performance, and the atmosphere was warm. The entire founding conference ended successfully in the singing of ‘Unforgettable Tonight’.
